   How many times a day do you stop and ask yourself what should you be doing.  I recently had a hysterectomy and I find I keep asking myself what's next.  Like somehow a part of my life if over.  Maybe it's not my life exactly as more like a chapter in it.  I have five beautiful kids I can't ever discount that.  But I still feel that loss.  The loss of something more. So know I sit her looking out at the cars passing by and the mountains in the distance and I'm wondering what is next.  What am I supposed to be doing? What is my purpose? What's next? I had these same questions many times before but now it seems so much bigger. Date When Celebrated:  Always on May 30 Water a Flower Day  is a reminder to water your flowers...all of them. Sure, we know that this day reads Water "a" Flower (singular) Day. It clearly indicates that a flower should be watered. But, in today's world of equal rights and non-discrimination regulations, how can you single out one particular flower to water? Even if you can decide upon a certain flower, wouldn't the rest of your flowers get upset and file a class action lawsuit? So please, for your own sake, water all of your flowers today. As a gardener, this author suggest you make your flowers very happy with you, by adding a liquid fertilizer to the water. They will reward you with faster growth, and bigger blooms!      It amazes me how I can sit outside on the porch the evening and find it so calming,  All the background noise has become such come place that I don't even notice it anymore until I concentrate on it. I hear the neighbors fighting like always, the kids playing in the park below me, the cars racing home or maybe just to the next red light. I hear the sirens racing off in the distance someone too loud television and I always hear one of my own kids asking me for something and the sounds don't brother me.  I wish someone would record them so I can listen on those nights I can't sleep because everything is just a little bit to quite.   Feel Free to comment and share with your friends! I love that there are moments when I can sit here and block out everything.  I don't have to schedule something or plan something. Or wonder if everything is moving I can just breathe.  It goes without saying that we do it all the time but we never really enjoying it or focus on the in and out of air unless maybe in yoga like when your sitting our looking at the mountains in the quite while the world is just a little quite around you.         Talking to my brother every morning he asks me where I'm sitting and this time I said I'm sitting in the porch.  Immediately I look around and I noticed the house dress I'm wearing, even though it looks nothing like my grandmas. Trees are a good thing. They give us shade, comfort and warmth. They give off oxygen, too. There are many, many benefits provided by trees. So, you have good reason to love a tree or two. Everyone has a favorite kind of tree. Use today to identify a tree you love, and to pamper it. Give it a trim. Eliminate competitors around it. Feed it a dose of fertilizer. Tree spikes work great. And, give the tree some water, if it is thirsty. Important Note:  On  Love a Tree Day , your attention must be turned toward trees. A bush or a shrub just won't do. Mother's Day Date When Celebrated :  Second Sunday in May Everybody has a mother and absolutely no one is more special than mom. Sure, dad is really important. And, grandparent's too. But moms, well they are just the greatest. Often taken for granted, they are always our strongest supporter. You can't do wrong in Mom's eyes. When you are hurt, or not feeling well....there is no one else that can help you more than Mom. I saw this clearly recently as our son was in the emergency room. Sure, dad was an important presence. But, the look in my son's eyes with his mom by his side was certain affirmation of mom's comforting ways, and importance. So go out and celebrate Mother's Day. First and foremost, spend time with her. If you absolutely can not be there, take time for a long phone call. Flowers, cards, candy and gifts are all part of the day.         I have spent most of my life being a stay at home Mom.  There have been times when I have held jobs for years during this time but mostly since about the age of 20 my number one job as been the family.  I have completed exactly 2 semesters of Community College and it's time now to enroll again.  I want to.  I want a degree but I'm always back and forth in what I want to do as far as school goes.  I want to write, be a photographer, own a business where I make lotion soaps and candles and recently I have thought a lot about real estate.  A part of me says you can do it all and another part of me says woman grow up choose one.  It's hard because I can see myself doing them all and being good at it.  We have always been taught pick something. Stick too it but I feel my two year old self crossing my arms across my chest and stomping my foot talking about I don't wanna choose, I want it all.  Then my adult self answers with simply why can't you?  Feel Free t

Entry # 1                                  The first day moving here and looking out I had so many words I wanted to say and write that they all got stuck somewhere. I had so many things that I wanted to say that I just didn't know how to get them all out.  Isn't that the way of a self proclaimed writer you want to say so much that at times you don't know how to organize it all.  I found myself remembering the saying write, just write, write even if it doesn't make sense, if it spelled wrong or the grammar is bad just write and fix it later.  I know I paraphrased but you get my meaning so that what I'm doing just writing one comes to me.     Feel Free to comment and share with your friends! While talking with my eleven year old he informs me that he hasn't had to use any lines in awhile and being the person that I am I walked right into the wrong conversation. Me: What lines? Son: Did it hurt? Me: Did what hurt? Son: When you fell from heaven? Me: Where did you even get that from? Son: Are you are star? Me: What? Son: Because you sparkle like one. Me: ...and this works for you? Son: Yep! The girls just love me. I think he is going to go down as the only person in history that ever worked for. But I think its just his dimples!
