Denny's At it Again!

Today we went into Dennys at about 8:50 am. After about ten minutes of waiting we finally were asked our order. Which normally isn't a problem but the people who walked in after us were already being served their drinks. Then another five minutes we have our drinks and are waiting on the meal that was previously ordered with our drinks. 33 mins have gone by.   

People being served after us were already walking out. Then we we offered to pay for our drinks before leaving they declined the payment as if all they were waiting for was us to get up and leave.

While timing and amount of people can certainly be taken into consideration I can't help but feeling that had we been other people this experience would have gone alot better.
