Image
Date When Celebrated :  Always April 22 National Jelly Bean Day is a time to enjoy gobs and gobs of jelly beans. Anyone who loves jelly beans, knows they are not just for Easter. Sure, they are very popular at Easter. But, they are also enjoyed year round. The flavors are limited only by the imagination of candy makers. Advertisements promoted sending jelly beans to Union troops fighting in the Civil War. The original candy maker is unknown. Do you know how to celebrate National Jelly Bean Day? Look Alike Day

Look Alike Day Date When Celebrated :  Always April 20 Oh Boy! It's Look Alike Day. Time to look like somebody else.....copycat. Today's a day to find someone you really look up to, and try to look like them. Start with the hair. Cut and style your hair, as needed,  to look like the person you've selected to look like. Then, select items from your wardrobe (or buy some new clothes!) that your lookalike wears. Along the way, make sure to practice and copy their walk, their talk, and their facial expressions. In other words. try to be as identical to that person as possible. Who should you look like? Anyone you want. Its as simple as that. Pick an actor or actress, a singer, a politician, family member or friend. Look alike contests and parties are a great idea for today. Most Famous Look Alikes (Impersonators):  Elvis Presley, The "King". Also, current and past presidents. http://www.holidayinsights.com/moreholidays/April/lookalikeday.h

National Sibling Day

National Sibling Day Date When Celebrated :  Always April 10 National Sibling Day is a day to appreciate and cherish your brothers and sisters. Siblings are truly a special blessing that we probably all too often take for granted. They are often our best friends and supporters through life. Another reason to celebrate is that not everyone is lucky enough to have siblings. Their lives are significantly different growing up, and throughout  life. Celebrate National Sibling Day in a variety of ways. It's a great time to be thankful for your sibling. But, most importantly get in touch with your siblings. Visit them if they live nearby. Call them, if they live far away. Send them a card, a letter, gifts, or flowers.     National Sibling Day  is similar to  Brothers and Sisters Day , which is celebrated on May 2nd. http://www.holidayinsights.com/moreholidays/April/siblingday.htm Feel Free to comment and share with your friends!
